Jax is our silly, smart, and endlessly lovable mini Australian Shepherd. He’s the kind of pup who zooms through the house at full speed, tilts his head at every new sound, demands belly rubs on his schedule, and somehow manages to melt our hearts every single day. He’s not just our dog — he’s our little boy, our shadow, and the heart behind everything we create.
Life With a “Take Me Everywhere” Pup
From the very beginning, Jax made it clear that he wanted to be included in everything. And honestly? We wouldn’t have it any other way.
Between traveling back and forth from New York to New Jersey to visit family, running errands, and squeezing in park days, Jax was always along for the ride. But constantly being on the go made one thing very obvious — we needed dog gear that was functional, organized, and easy, without sacrificing style.
I didn’t want bulky bags, cluttered pockets, or mismatched accessories. I wanted tactical, hands-free essentials that actually made life easier while traveling and walking with a high-energy pup.
Why Love Wag & Play Was Created
Love Wag & Play was born out of real life with Jax. I started this brand because I couldn’t find dog accessories that fit my lifestyle — neutral and modern, pieces that felt thoughtfully designed and worked for everyday movement. Whether it was quick walks, long travel days between NY and NJ, or spontaneous adventures, I wanted products that helped me stay organized and stress-free.
